INTRODUCTION:
Dr. Xu published 14 first author and corresponding author papers, with a total impact factor of more than 100 and total cites of more than 400. Dr. Xu has won Shanghai Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, nomination of National Excellent  Doctoral Dissertation and Bio-X Award. He now works as associate editor of BMC Psychiatry, BMC Medical Genomics and editoral board member of Progress in Neuro-Psychopharmacology and Biological Psychiatry.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Epidemiology, genomics and bioinformatics study of complex human diseases. Recently, Dr. Xu's research focuses on intergrating and cross analysis on multi omics data of cardiovascular disease and neuropsychic disease as well as systems biology. Besides, with molecular markers of multi omics data, he intends to conduct disease risk prediction model to better serve for clinic.
